technology. Sony Magazine has been created to bring you inside the world of movies, music, games and TV – to bring you a unified Sony perspective.
The magazine's heroes are the mavericks, the
risk-takers and the independent thinkers. This edition, we find out exactly what has driven Will Smith from Fresh Prince to King of Hollywood – the immensely likeable movie star talks to Sony Magazine ahead of the release of his latest film, Hancock.
Talent and determination were also key factors in the success of comedian Adam Sandler – we’ve got an appreciation of his career to date, ahead of the release of You Don’t Mess with the Zohan. In a Sony Magazine exclusive, film-maker Don Letts explains how the punk and reggae scenes fused in 1978 to create the inspiration for The Clash’s legendary single ‘(White Man) in Hammersmith Palais’ and the anti-fascist protest movement Rock Against Racism.
Elsewhere, we find out how the inhabitants of Viareggio in Italy register their displeasure with the powers that be – by staging one of the most colourful and off-the-wall carnivals in the world. Sony Magazine was there in the thick of it, recording the event on Sony’s flagship digital SLR camera.
